Gratefulph Lodge

We took a day off and took Sam to the Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos in eastern PA - it is a HUGE indoor waterpark with lots of waterslides, a wavepool, and whole bunch of silly little water activities...it was a great few days and Sam had the time of his life!

It's an amazing place with a "camp" kind of feel. Sam sat on a wooden bear that sits in the front lobby...

Here he is, ready to hit the "waterfall center" ten minutes after we got there...

A few action shots in the water...

After a few hours we hit the arcade...the boys rode a motocycle...

...and Sam took control of the ice cream truck! Anyone interested in a vanilla cranberry??

Before bed we want back to the waterpark and Sam and Dad went on a waterslide. It was our second time down. Our first time down was an adventure! Sam went down with his mom and we didn't realize how fast, or how twisty it was...and crazy waterslides are not Abi's favorite thing so she was trying to be brave so Sam wasn't scared. He went down a second time, so I guess her efforts worked :)

At the end of the day we relaxed and watched "toon moooooovies" before bed (thanks to Ab, official trip photographer!)
