Swim Lessons Have Begun!

The end pieces came for our bedroom floors this weekend so we decided to tackle the hallway...it was a pain in the butt, but we were able to pull it off, and it look pretty good too!

Here's our starting look after we took up the rug...



All the credit goes to our little helper, who got all the measurements right!





...and here's the finished product. Grampa is going to have to come help us finish the rest of the room!

Fort Monmouth

We took Sam to Fort Monmouth today for the "Last Hooah" before it gets de-commissioned. There were helicopters, skydivers and rides - it was really fun.

Ab was feeling patriotic, though she insists she was just shielding her eyes from the sun :)

Pizza Night

After the park (post below) we took the kids to make pizzas, which they thought was the greatest thing ever! Perhaps some new careers are in order!

Mac and Maeve Have Arrived

Sam's cousins Mac and Maeve are visiting for Fourth of July Weekend. We went to the park last night so everyone could run around and have fun before a big beach day.
