Soccer

Saturday was Sam's first day of soccer :) He's a little young for it, but he had a great time. Does it matter that most of his fun was away from the ball??

Nice Camera, Nice Pics

Grandma and Grandpa vistited from Massachusetts and Grandma brought her fancy camera (Nikon D60) with her. It takes some great pictures!

Sam's Bathroom

One of the projects we've been working on is Sam's bathroom, which is upstairs and out of the way of everything. When we moved in, the walls were a light blue, with tan tile and a silver and old light fixture...it needed a little change of pace! So, I picked an ORANGE paint - think "Home Depot" orange - and found a matching shower curtain. Abi was a little hesitant at first, but Sam loves the color! We're going to add some surfer/beachy stuff to the walls, and we'll have a fun kids bathroom. Here are the before and after pics of the paint and light fixture:

Master Bath - Before and After

We finished our master bath project, which included new paint, a new vanity sink, a new faucet, and cleaned up fixtures...all of which we did by ourselves...and the water even works!!
