Wash wash wash wash wash

Sam got a new step stool today. When we finished working (previous post) he wanted to wash his hands without our help. He ended up washing his dishes too!



Can you tell he is very proud :)

School Days

Sam had his first day of school today!!

Project #1

So we're mostly unpacked and have started doing projects :) First up is the master bathroom, which we hadn't thought about until we got here. Sam is a big help! If all goes well, we'll have some before and after pictures by Monday...

Moving Day!

Well, moving day finally arrived! Abi and Sam took care of the final packing with the moving guys, and I ran around to the closings and took care of all the legal stuff.

It was hot today...so Sam sat in his pool, and ran around with no clothes :)

The Park

So we've been watching the park behind our house get built since the summer of 2006, which is hard to believe, and we've been waiting for it to be done so we can run around on it. Anyway, we are moving on Friday...two days after the official dedication. Go figure!

Then they got moving in July 2006, digging up concrete...





In July 2007 they cleared our backyard to make way for part of the park - which turned into a disaster that has only recently been resolved.



Now, the place is beautiful...

The Circus

We took Sam to the circus...not sure whether he'd love it or hate it. He loved it...everything from the clowns the the elephants to the motorcycles going around in the ball, and the tightrope walkers!

Picking Peaches

We took Sam to pick peaches today...



He ran around everywhere...



He climbed up into the trees!



..looked around on the ground for anything that could be promising...



...consulted with Mommy about whether we needed anymore whites or maybe a few more "necareens"



...and, of course, tasted his efforts!

Sam and Owen went to the Spraygound yesterday with their friend Elise. As you can see, they had a wet and fun time!

Playing On The Digger Trucks

Here are a few pics of Sam playing on the digger trucks in the soon-to-be park behind our house...which we've lived with for three years and won't be done by the time we move!

Missing Jodi

Sam and our neighbor Jodi are boyfriend and girlfriend. She moved to Maine for the year and Sam has been missing her lately...
