Summer seems to be officially here...at least if you're Sam and get to sit in your adirondack in the back yard and eat an italian ice after your parents chased down the ice cream man!
This is our son Sam's website. We thought it would be a great way to keep in touch with far flung family and friends and let everyone watch him grow.

Memorial Day Festivities
We had a very busy Memorial Day. It started with a parade near Grammy and Grampy's house, then breakfast out, playing in the park for a little while, a trip to the beach (we couldn't get Sam out of the water), and then a bike ride with his new cocoon!
First, a few parade pics. Do you think it's too early in the morning?
Sam's friend Elise caught up with us to watch and he had fun pointing things out to her.
Here's the two of them watching the old cars go by...
After the parade we went to breakfast and the park. At breakfast he got to drink a chocolate milkshake with whipcream and was in heaven.
Then off to the beach. At first he was scared of the water and wanted to play by us.
...but he soon overcame his fears and was searching for sand crabs
...and then I had to pull him out of the water! (This is one of my favorites of our recent pics)

Grandma and Grandpa Time
Abi and I went to Abi's friend Heather's wedding (which was very nice) so Sam got to hang out with his Grandma and Grandpa for the day...
They took a chilly walk on the boardwalk
...where, according to this smile, someone was acting a little mischievous :)
...and here are a few more good pics from the day...

Race Day
Mom had a rehearsal dinner for her friend Heather's wedding today, so Aunt Becky and Uncle Rich invited me and Sam to a party at Monmouth Park. It was a fun afternoon watching the horses!
Sam liked the paddock. I like this picture of Sam liking the paddock with a mouthful of chocolate :)
It was a nice day and Sam loved hanging out with Aunt Becky and Uncle Rich, and Owen...
...and he loved the tractors as much as the horses!

A Night At The BlueClaws
We went to the BlueClaws game on Friday and sat in the box, which gave Sam and Owen a great view of the early innings...
Owen took some time off from watching the game to mug with Grampy :)
Then Sam, Matt and Elise took their spots watching. You'd think from these few pics that Sam didn't move from that spot...it's not the case, he was everywhere!
Like here, he got to pose with his mom and Buster, who was nice enough to visit with us and pose for pictures.
After the game there were fireworks, which he had mixed feelings about. He was shaking for a little while, but then he got into them and loved it!
Here's a video clip of the fireworks...
