Swimming!

Sam went swimming for the first time today and loved it! He splashed and kept trying to dunk his face...looks like he may be a natural!



He also floated! He looked a little like an otter...he just needs a washtub bass to play along with grampy and his guitar :)

Opening Day!

It's finally Opening Day...at least for the Red Sox, who played the A's in Japan in an official game and won 6-5 in the 10th inning!



Sam is excited that the Sox are already a 1/2 game up on the Yankees :)

Springtime??

Isn't it supposed to be spring?!?!

Our Computer Guy

Sam got a computer game from the Easter Bunny that he had fun playing with today...It's funny to watch his eyes as the cars zoom by in front of him :)

Happy Birthday To Mom!

It was Abi's birthday today, and Sam helped her blow out the candles...



...then went on to play in his little walker thing...

Happy Easter

The Easter Bunny came to visit Sam last night...



...and he had a lot of fun playing with all the eggs!

Papa's Knee

Sam's Papa had knee surgery this week so we went to visit him. I think Sam helped cheer him up :)



Afterwards, we went to lunch at a little dive in Princeton. Abi and I ate real food and Sam ate his bug...

Sam and Owen hung out today and Sam was determined to hold Owen's hand. I'm surprised he didn't eat it!

Easter Eggs

Our friends Heather and Kevin came over for dinner and helped us color easter eggs.

Sam and his mom were excited for the big coloring extravaganza...

He did a great job helping out

...and the results were several masterpieces!

Afterwards, Sam had fun goofing around with Kevin :)

A Little Tongue, Anyone??

Our boy has discovered that he can control his tongue and has decided that he needs to exercise it despite the obstacles his papa tried to put in the way :)

Sam and his Jump & Go

Sam recently got a jump & go, which is a little seat on a bungy cord type thing that fits into doorways...and he can jump and play in it. He gets a big kick out of it!



It was tough to get his attention...I had to maneuver...



...and he clearly did not like the interruptions ;)

Sam had his first solid food tonight...a rice cereal mixture. He loved it!

Sam is 5 months old today. Abi sent sent some pictures to me to post and after the day I have had, they really made my day!
