Owen Robert Montgomery

Sam's cousin Owen was born this morning!! He weighed in at 6 lbs, 9 oz and he was 19.5 inches long. Below is the one picture I've seen of him...can't wait to see more! Congrats to the Montgomerys!

Baseball

The offseason is almost over and even though the Sox haven't signed Johan Santana (yet), Sam and his dad are starting to get excited. Spring training begins for pitchers and catchers in less than three weeks. Before we know it, opening day will be here!



I'm starting to be able to imagine him in a sandlot...if that's what he wants to do, of course!

O Baby!!!

Sam is a big Barack Obama supporter, so tonight's 28-point blowout over Hillary Clinton in South Carolina topped off his exciting day!

He might be Obama's cutest supporter...

...and he apparently wants change he can believe in!

Sam's Exersaucer

Sam and his mom were over at his grandparents' house today for Becky's baby shower. We took Sam's Exersaucer from Bonnie and Kev's attic today and he had a great time! Looks like we may have found his (and our) new best thing :)

Exhausted

Sam had a long day of visiting and playing with his new friends at his nature class yesterday. He was exhaused and fell asleep almost immediately after I got home, which is not like him. When we put him in the pack and play he looked like he could have been the model for one of those chalk figure outlines...only he's the model who forgot to button his pants!

It's Getting Cold!!

Sam and his mom were heading out into the cold today, so we had to make sure he was bundled up!

Sammy Walnuts

Sam has this great polyester running suit that reminds us of something Paulie Walnuts would have worn :) We took some pics of him in it, hoping he'd look like an enforcer but it turns out he just doesn't have it in him. The pics are cute though!

Under The Weather

This past weekend Sam was feeling under the weather for the first time. He had a temperature of 100 and wasn't interested in eating at all. We thought it might be an ear infection but had no idea what to do! We gave him tylenol and frantically drove to the doctor who told us Sam was fine - he had a little virus and we should let him sleep.

We brought him home and got him dressed in his comfy sick clothes...jammies and elephant slippers...and he ended up being fine. It's magic! I'm convinced it was the slippers :)

Three Months - Belatedly

Sam was three months old yesterday! He was very crabby, but Abi was able to get some cute pictures. I didn't get them up in time though
